To commemorate the release of adidas football’s newest boot ”Predator Accuracy”, we were asked to create content bridging the gap between football and culture. With our connections in the entertainment industry we were specifically tasked with setting up an event in which celebrities would appear in the new shoe.
We wanted to host a small-scale football tournament with four different teams made up of artists, creatives and other public figures. In addition, we chose comedian Lilla Al-Fadji as the tournaments host and we also encouraged participants to invite friends that could act as an audience. A three man camera crew was set up around the area together with several static cameras, ensuring every part of the action would get captured. To guarantee an immersive experience we provided custom team kits and a custom graphic design profile in line with adidas and the ”Predator Accuracy” branding.
A 30+ minute long video was produced for DOPEST Youtube channel, containing footage of the games, products and off the field banter. The video started trending on YouTube shortly after being uploaded and trailers as well as shorter clips on Instagram and TikTok amassed high viewership too. Apart from the main video, the tournament and it’s associated branding appeared numerous times on the participating creators social media profiles.
