Scope

Event

Together with Activision and XBOX Sweden we set out to celebrate the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the latest instalment in one of gamings most popular series. We were tasked with arranging a launch party in Stockholm on the day of the global release, as well as curating a guest list of celebrities and special guests.

Concept

Aiming for an experience encompassing gaming, music and socialising we approached the event as a rave. Connecting to the setting of the campaign in Black Ops 6 we themed the event after the 90’s, with iconic DJ Darude as a headliner for the night. Guests were able to interact with actors portraying characters from the game, who would give them clues to solving an interactive mission: "Find the mole". For food and drinks, Bastard Burgers and Monster Energy hosted pop-ups during the event.

Results

The event had hundreds of attendees with celebrity guests such as artist Victor Leksell, TikTok-star Wonderboidead and many more. The party went on late into the night with music from headliner Darude as well as DJ:s DiegoxMami and ULAX. A summary of the event was posted to our website along with content for our and XBOX Swedens social media platforms, reaching thousands of gamers nationwide.
